Sorry for not posting on Thursday of last week. I was busy planning this post. My very first........
GIVEAWAY!!!
I am so excited. I am so pleased that I finally have blog followers. People actually read what I write, and I wanted to say thank you.
The prizes are:
An adhesive pen loop
A 2 pack of favorite felt tip pens
A selection of post-it notes
Sorry it isn't much, but it is my first giveaway and I wanted to make sure I could send it internationally. I hope you all will join in.
The rules are simple:
Please be a subscriber. That is the whole point of this giveaway, I want to thank my subscribers.
In the comments section below please leave a comment letting me know what your favorite "binder planner" (filofax or otherwise) related accessory is
You must be 18 years or older and be willing to provide me with your mailing address should your comment be chosen as the winner.
I will be using random.org to select a winner.
(Pictures of the prizes to follow...I broke my camera this past weekend. But I still wanted to get the giveaway up)
It's a hole punch. A hole punch (and there are lots of different types) sets you up to add your own content, which is a huge advantage of the Filofax system.
ReplyDeleteI really need to get a nice one. Right now I just use a one-hole punch. Pain in the toosh, but it does the job.
DeleteStickers ....I can make it as pretty as I like.
ReplyDeleteI love stickers too. I have a bunch in the front and back pockets of my personal chameleon.
DeleteI love tabs, dividers, and stickers just the same! personalizing and having sections is very important!
ReplyDeleteI struggle with my tabs sometimes. One day I want everything seperated and nit-picky and other times I want very simple minimal tabs, and I will combine things...strange.
DeleteI have a seriously (borderline unhealthy) obsession with post it notes. All shapes and sizes, lined, with a grid, with a picture...I don't care, I love them all.
ReplyDeleteI have a 'small' collection of post-it notes...about 30 or 40 different kinds. I have a minor addiction to them.
DeleteI agree with Ray, the hole punch. After that my paper cutter :-)
ReplyDeleteI have a paper cutter, I would love to get a quillotine one though. (pretty sure I spelled that wrong)
DeleteDefinitely hole punches, but I will also add decent paper to print on to.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could get the hang of printing on personal size. I can't get it to go on both sides properly.
DeleteFlyleafs! These are my favorite accessory because they allow me to add a variety of sticky notes/tabs so that I can have a wide variety with me wherever I go. Love the fly leaves! Plus they work to protect other pages. give me flyleaves any day!
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of flyleaves in my personal size. I saw on a video that a girl had slit hers so it could be removed without opening the rings, and she puts it in her current week to stick notes and things to. I think I am going to try that next year.
DeleteI think they are really useful things! I like the idea of cutting slits to make it easily removable. I did that with one of mine a while back and it is really useful to use as a movable to-do list since I could stick post-its on it.
DeleteStickers! That is definitely one thing i can never pass up, as well as sticky notes. My husband says "do you NEED more?" Of course not, but who cares!
ReplyDeleteI love sticky notes. Post it and Avery the best because they have better sticking power, but KnockKnock brand is super good as well.
DeleteJot pads, to use as GTD ticklers in my Filofax!
ReplyDeleteI bought some jotpads in the beginning and I couldn't make them work for me, now I just use them like a scratch pad, a rather pricey scratch pad lol
DeleteI love so many things but I guess this week, I lean towards post it notes. I have tons of them, shapes and sizes, lined, grid, blank, transparent. It is so bad that I even had an extra one of those boxed sets of post its and flags so when my husband started a new job where I worked, I didn't even have to go looking or order him one. Just here you go!
ReplyDeletePost it notes are a popular accessory. I like the small shaped ones the best. Less boring in my opinion.
DeleteWell, being a newbie to Filofax, I would say the holepunch. With it, I can any insert I want.
ReplyDeleteI am looking into getting a proper hole punch, right now I use a one-holer, very time consuming.
DeleteA combo of stickers stamps and pens. Can't get enough colour on my pages!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite pens are the papermate flairs. I have used them since I was a kid, love them and no bleedthrough, just a bit of shadow depending on the paper.
DeleteMy favourite would have to be the clear plastic envelopes or credit card holders so I can choose what I want to have in it and also store any bits that are too small to punch
ReplyDeleteI like the multi-purpose holder (or something liket that) it has 3 different sized pockets. It's great.
DeleteI like to use tabs in my planner. I don't like sheet dividers because they take up ring space, so tabs are useful. We don't have Avery tabs here in the town where I live in Russia (and Id love to use them), so I use regular plastic flags (is this the righ word, I'm not sure).
ReplyDeleteAnd I'd like to try an adhesive pen loop too! :)
I subscribed to your blog, although I read it anyway through philofaxy blog.
Email me your address at
Deletestephanie(dot)doidge(at)gmail(dot)com and I can send you some Avery tabs.....even if you don't win my giveaway. ;-)
